MediaTaylor is owned by Richard Taylor and Louise Rice.

Louise Rice began her career as an editorial assistant with Heinemann Education in London. She went on to become Managing Director of their Australian and New Zealand educational publishing business under Reed Elsevier. She founded the dot com startup, Bite Publishing which was sold to Encyclopaedia Britannica, where she became Vice President of their online education business based in San Francisco . She has also been, Publishing Director, Trade and Reference, Oxford University Press, interim CEO of Lonely Planet (EMEA), Managing Director of Rodale Books International and is currently the Publishing and Logistics Director of the National Gallery Company in London . Louise also served as a trustee of the media charity Performing Arts Labs (PAL) www.pallabs.org between 2003 and 2008; she also sat on the board of Albert Park Secondary College ( Australia ) and also chaired the Schools Committee of the Australian Publishers Association.

Richard Taylor started his career as a jackaroo, studied at Monash University, worked in banking and then started up the Australian office for Educational Project Resources (EPR) UK. He subsequently purchased the company, renaming it Educational Communications. After selling this to EdComs, he invested in several start ups, did consultancy work, before EdComs appointed him to a senior position within the DfES Business Development Unit (where he represented the department on the newly formed Government Sponsorship Steering Committee). Next, he created the business intelligence journal, the assignment report (was sold to Meissa Limited), spent a brief period as the International Development Director for World Maths Day (owned by 3P Learning) and is currently working on several projects including Tutpup and some M&A advisory work in the education sector. Richard is a former director of the Australian Sponsorship Marketing Association, sat on the education committee of the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) and was appointed by the Home Office to sit on the Independent Monitoring Board for Wormwood Scrubs Prison between 2007-2008. He has also written two sponsorship books - Straightforward Sponsorship – (2004) - an e-book used with clients and individuals wanting to improve their understanding of sponsorship, and Playing for Success – Tips for Successful Sponsorship (Crown copyright 2004) – a guide for the UK government-funded Playing for Success school sports programme.
